I have a Coralife Skimmer 125gal with needle-wheel and the thing gets dirty after about 2 - 3 days. Dirty to the point where I have a hard time seeing where the bubble level is in the tube.
My question : Is that "crap" that accumulates on the walls of the collection cup and the inner tube prevent the skimmer from doing it's job or is it just plain ugly to look at? I ask this question because I often see the skimmers in LFS that are really dirty and no one seems to care about it.
Please advise.
