can you guys post some links or pics of what kind of lighting is good for a 10 gallon fuge? i just have the swirlly flourecant bulbs from home depot in my hood right now. im not sure if thats sufficient or not.
I assume you're trying to grow Chaeto or another macro in there?
If so, I would just slap an inexpensive compact fluorescent fixture up there with daylight (6700k- 10000K) bulbs. Just keep in mind that macros are green plants, and thus prefer daylight bulbs over actinic. An inexpensive hood designed for a freshwater planted tank would work nicely.
