For what its worth:

I ran across an ad in a yacht interior design magazine.
Looked up the websight and liked the info. Thought I would share with all.
They have some ultra bright led's and 2 different wavelength ultra violet
ones made for fluorescence excitation. L.E.D. fiber optics too.

I have seen many posts about L.E.D. lighting here. Guess this is just more fuel for the fire!

I do not rep the above in any way.....just sharing some cool info.

Sweet! I was hoping it was an old school wood boat building outfit. My dad retired about 5 years ago and now runs a wood shop in SF, so I'm building my own kitchen cabinets there now- nothing like working with wood. Though boat building is another animal altogether. Serious respect knucklehead! The oyster boats are incredible...

Yeah, I heard they did pretty good. I heard they lost a few display corals.

The guy is rich there, and he knows what he is doing. I am sure he had generators running through out the storm.

Stores that did not fair well:

1. Rick's Reef ("Lost everything" qoute to Rick)

2. Aquatic Specialties ("The only thing that made it were two clown fish...had the generators ready to go, but we could not make it to the shop" qoute to owners)

3. Silent World (The oldest shop in history (1960) to really do well in salwater, I am not sure, but I know they lost everything.)

My tank made out well. I got a generator on it. Later got too hot, moved it (prized corals) in a nano cube in a aircondition room.

I am in California in Fresno for college, because UNO got messed up. I got my mom taking care of my tank. All she does is feed it, top off, water change, drip kalk, and test water. She can reef just as good as me now.

Man you said crawfish. I am 2000 miles away from crawfish and I want to get some now.
