ups battery backup question...

Can someone post specific UPS's that work for them? I'm also looking to run a Maxi-Jet 1200 (and maybe a fan).

OK, problem.

I got this UPS (APC 300W 500VA). My Maxijet 1200 shuts it down in a few seconds. It doesn't run down, it shuts down and beeps continuously. It only does it with the 1200, not the 900 or my icecap fan, or even my laptop. I've tried two 1200's, including a brand new one and the same thing happens.

Any ideas?
