I just wanted to say that this pair was a great addition to my tank.

The Yasha shipped poorly and was not eating on the fist day. It found the shrimp and entered the burrow with the shrimp. For the next couple of days I could only see the goby's heat at the entrance of the burrow.

Then I lost the goby all together.

I thought it was dead.

Over one week after I put it in the tank, I walk in my office this morning and there he is. Perched outside the burrow periodically swimming around looking for planktonic food in the water current.

He immediately ate pellet food. I fed him some prime reef (chopped marine flesh), but he eats pellets so well, I don't even have to worry about frozen food.

This is the nicest looking fish I have seen in a long time. The markings are incredible. His mouth looks big enough to swallow a fish twice his size. He even ate a chunk of meat the size of his head without a problem. 8O

Thanks to Matt for recommending him. :)

I didn't know he would be out today. I really thought he was dead.

I'll bring my camera tomorrow.

What pistol is it?

And yeah, I'd love to see a pic!

A randal's pistol shrimp, AKA candy stripe pistol shrimp.

And damn, I forgot my camera when I came to work.

I'll get a pic up soon.
