I came across a nice clip-on fan today:

As much as I hate Wal-Mart, I'm glad I made the emergency run for diapers there.

It's low profile makes positioning easy, and less of an eyesore:

It is a nice fan. I regret not buying it when I was there getting the big bulky 7" fan on the shelf next to it. Always trying to please the wife by saving a few buck you know.

I'd say it's equivalent, if not more, as the other desktop/clip-on fans. It uses a blower wheel instead of a fan blade.

i really like the look of that fan. i just searched the walmart website and couldn't find the fan you got there and i really like the look of it.

and i don't have much room to work with.

how wide is it? how much was it?

It's roughly 10.5" L X 4" W X 3.5" H (not including the clip attachment). It's $19.99.

Sorry you can't find it. Funny thing is, this Clip Stik isn't even listed in Lasko's product line :?

I found a press release statement for it on the Lasko website, so it's a relatively new product. Wal-Mart's have only started carrying it in March, so hopefully you'll see them soon.
