Yes...it was very depressing. I imagine it was due to disease, likely prompted by human error.

I went a little fish crazy this month, adding an Achilles a couple weeks ago, then a Mytery Wrasse and Regal Angel this past weekend.

The black tang has been established for quite some time, and is the resident prick. He gave the Achilles a hard time for the first few days , but the Achilles held his own. Both are roughly the same size.

Here's the Regal I just added:

I was very surprised how hard the black tang went after him. The Regal is much larger, and I assumed the body shape and color pattern was different enough. I guessed wrong.

Worried that the aggression might be too stressful for the angel, I cut out a picture of a black tang, and taped it to the tank.

With his attention divided, the Regal had an easier time getting used to the system. He's not shy, and swims about freely. I'm hoping he'll develop an appetite in another week or so.

I hope the Achilles survives. It will be nice having a black and achilles in the same tank.

Looks awesome, I like the new regal good luck with em' I have never been brave enough to try one myself. I cant wait to get me new tank and get some new fish. Good idea on taping a fake tang to youre tank.

Thanks, Lou! I think I've lucked out with the Achilles. Eats like a pig. He's actually in the real/fake pic above. He's put on weight.
