Definitely a cool fish.. I've seen a couple of them in person, and I don't think I'd mind keeping one. But, as you know I'm partial to the golden blennies
Although, a supercool blenny I've always wanted (but could never find anywhere) is the Tesselated blenny: a quick search on google images produced this result
taken from http://www.daveread.com. I hope he doesn't mind me linking his pic, but this fish is too cool.
I've kept Istiblennius chrysospilos, which also goes by the common name "Christmas Blenny." It's a great looking fish with a wonderful personality. It's hardy and reef-safe, IME. It will pick at micro-algae, but isn't as effective as blennies in the genera Salarias or Atrosalarias. The big downside, IME, is that it's a jumper. I lost two of them to the floor and won't buy another.
