I have a frosted colored bubbley film on my water. I have never had this before and have changed almost nothing aside from adding livestock. In addition my bullseye mandarin is apparently trying to eat things out of this film on the top which is very odd behavior for a mandarin in my experience. I have never seen one free swimming away from the LR. Any ideas what this can be?

I only add a two part calcium supplement and generally pull readings at 425-450. My skimmer is pulling it's normal glop. All livestock accept the mandarin are acting normal.

One thing you may want to do is to increase your surface agitation a bit. That would take care of the surface film.
