Anybody have experience with this beautiful little fish? I have one in a 90 gallon reef and he is so far behaving himself. Took to flake food about 30 seconds after I placed him in quarantine. Occasionally nips at zoanthids but also eats Aiptasia anemones. A much better fish alternative to a copper banded butterfly for ridding a tank of Aiptasia IMHO.

Apparently they can be kept in groups too. :D

They are a fine fish just not that colorful for a butterfly - imo.

I have had them off and on for years and have always been fond of them. They eat prepared food before they will nibble on anything else. I don't think they ever bothered any of my corals sps, lps, leathers, or clams. I traded in my last one for a clam and I had 2 just die (diff times) for no apparent reason.

Hmmm. I have a few Aiptasia I've been trying to kill with marginal success. I might have to give this butterfly a try.

Several books I have indicate it eats soft coral polyps. :? I have it with a Sinularia, Xenia, and Clavularia and haven't noticed it touching them yet.
