I was told I needed to post this here, so here are some pictures from start to finish of my new aquarium.

I built this tank to replace the many tanks I had before, so that I only had one system to perform maintenance on.

The tank consists of:

upstairs:

- 225 (6'x2'x30")
- 120 (4'x2'x2')
- 75 (4'x?x?) - 3 sections
- 75 (4'x?x?) - 3 sections

Downstairs:

100g rubbermaid - Refugium

150g rubbermaid - frag tank / water level sump

90g rubbermaid - equipment tank / water level sump

Equipment:

Sump to tanks feed pump: Sequence Hammerhead

CL on 225: Sequence Dart

PH on 120: ETM Vortech

Lighting on pair tank 1: CSL 4x65w PC fixture

Lighting on pair tank 2: PFO 8x54w T5 fixture

Lighting on 120: 250w SE MH, 400w SE MH

Lighting on 225: 2 x 400w SE MH with Lumenarc III mini's

Reactor: dual chamber 20" tall geo

Skimmer: Euro-Reef CS400

Top-Off: Self made acrylic float switch holder, with two liquid level switches, connected to an Aquamedic niveaumat unit.

The feed to the aquamedic unit is a 30g resevoire tank. The resevoire tank has a Kent marine floatswitch, which is hooked to my RO/DI unit.

The 225 is a display, the 120 is a display as well. I will house my sps in the 120 until I can figure out the effects and how to mount the halides effectively on the 225.

The two 75's will house my clownfish pairs, which I intend to breed.

Here are the pictures:

That is very cool. I just hope you do not have heat issues with the sunlight from the window.

Thank you very much... I still have yet to get pictures of my skunk clownfish, they hide in the rockwork whenever I get the camera out.

I put cell pad window shades in today, so far so good with the light in the window. I hooked up my AquaController today as well. The temperature is staying stable at 79.5F.

The skimmer has finally broken in, now producing a nice dark foam.
