I just discovered some white spots on my blue chromis. They seem to be discolorations of the scales. They are not raised up or anything. I can not yet get a good picture of them. Is it ick.

It looks like the fins are salted? Likely it is ich. Cryptocaryon irratans.

I would pull the fish to a hospital tank, you can use hyposalinity as a good method for treatment, just acclimate it to it.

Need some help in the how. I do not have a second tank, Yet. I do have a bucket and a large can I used to cure my live rock. Would either of those work. How quickly do I need to act? It would take a bit of time to get the environment set up and ready.

Hyposalinity is your best bet for treatment. Do a search on it.
