Can lyretail anthias change sex in aquariums?

Well the question is just that.........Can lyretail anthias change sex in our tanks? i know they are hermaphroditic and do it in the wild........but can only females change to males or can it be vice versa? I bought 2 about a week and a half ago.........bot about same pinkish color. they didnt get along too well and one would harass the other one whenit came out......now they seem to hang out toghether just fine and the one that was harrassed seemd to get a bit more orange and the other got a really beautiful more deep pink...............so can this be or is it just my imagination?

They do go from O+ to O-> readily, esp. if there is no other O->. You are not that imaginative...

I don't think that they can change from male to female. If you have two males (and you do), I would expect the harrassement to continue until one dies.

Pink = Male
Orange = Female

thats what i thoguht too.......but they definatley seem to hang out almost constantly and they r not harrassing eachother. so either they changed or theyjust are getting along now
