What is more lethal to corals high nitrite or ammonia levels or high phosphates levels or if you can think of anything please let me know.I could use some help on this please,as I am new to corals and I am considering buying some softies or a green Mushroom.

depends on species. but high nitrite and ammonia levels are lethal for all. you must not feed anything if you have high ammonia and nitrite.

Ammonia and heavy metal like copper, as well as some biotoxins and coral-eating critter.

Dehydration.

One finds very few species in the desert.

It turns out some soft corals actually can handle ammonia and nitrite, but I wouldn't subject them to it primarily because if either are measurable, your aquarium either is too new or something is going dreadfully wrong.

IMO if you any high readings in those you shouldn't add anything to the tank.

Yeah, if you suspect (or know) that you have any sort of readings for any of the things you listed, then you shouldn't be buying any coral yet. Figure out why you have levels of ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, whatever.........and get rid of the stuff. Then buy some cool corals.

zero ammonia reading almost no nitrite,medium level phosphate new tank 12 Gallon nano Tank.Three weeks old with two small fish one Damsel and Blackcap Basslett and one cleaner shrimp.readingings in Tank have been good except for phosphates.Have done several water changes and phosphate level is down to medium levels now.Used tap water my mistake thus high Phosphate level.Thinking of waiting one more week to put in a softie coral.
