125g FOWLR, 100lbs LR Berlin Turbo Skimmer and All Glass Sump. A Pinpoint PH monitor dropped off of my inside cabinet wall straight into the sump. The 9V battery began leaking its contents for approx 10 hours before I discovered the mishap. Bubble-tip anenome displayed signs of stress, fish have not. Immediate water change 25g.

Another 25g water change today. Would like to know if this potential catastrophy will kill my live rock and or fish long term. Any symptons to look for would be appreciated.

Keep you posted

I think you should be ok with a few water changes. One thing that is working in your favor is the size of your tank. Battery juice from a9 volt dissipated throughout a 125g tank + sump just isn't that much.

IMO I would do a 2 or maybe 3 more water changes to be safe and keep an eye on things after that. I'd be more worried about your ph monitor 8O
