For Christmas I got one of these little tanks.
It is sitting on my desk right now at work, and only has fresh water in it.
The instructions suggested putting a drop of dish soap in there, but I have been mulling this idea over in my head, and didn't want to contaminate it with soap.

I know this is awful, But I really want to put something in there.
It comes with a little circulation motor, and a blue LED light.
I am really wanting to put some gravel in there and a piece of Tonga branch with some mushrooms or polyps on it. I have monitored the temp and the little motor keeps the temp at about 76 degrees all the time it is on.
Do you think it has a chance?
It holds about a cup of liquid, and I could do 30% water changes every 3 days.
I Really want salt at the office and they don't like fishbowls hooked up to the same strip the computers are on...
