american marine calcium pinpoint moniter?

Do you have one? and if so do you like it? any regrets buying it...was it worth it...like your opinion on it. Is it easy to calibrate? etc. I know they run almost $300. cdn., but it sure would make like easier if I had one....but then I spent $169.00 on a salinity pinpoint 4 years ago and it's not working now.

I've researched this monitor last year and came to the conclusion that it's not a worthwhile investment due to reports of gross inaccuracies and need for constant calibration (might as well spend this time doing a standard chemical Ca test). People have told me accurate Ca monitors are possible but at MUCH higher costs.

Should be fixable. Did you contact the manufacture? Can be just a bad probe.
