...anyone have experience with these guys? I'm conditioned not to trust glass tanks from anyone but All Glass or Oceanic.

Any feedback appreciated.

You must have never owned a LeeMar :D Although, I hear they're so backed up now, that it takes weeks to months to get your tank.

Of all the reviews I've read, I wouldn't consider one for a display, but Louey and Snow are very happy with theirs. I guess you just need to catch the builder on the right day

I am very happy with my 300G tank from Glasscages, especially consideringt the price. No one else even comes close to their pricing. My 300G tank with low iron glass on the front and back, overflows on both ends, and acrylic overflow covers was $1430. Then I was able to get shiping to a trade show that they put on in Orlando. I rented a uhaul trailer for under $50 and picked it up. Any other manufacturer would have only offered shipping via motor freight and that would have easily costed $400 - $500. Glass cages does offer shipping via motor freight, but if you can pick it up at one of their shows you can save a bunch of money.

Oceanic's price for this same tank was $5700.

No experience with Glass Cages, but you might consider Ocean Image www.oceanimage.net as an alternative. I've got one of theirs and they did very nice work.

After getting serious tank envy during Louey's 300G tank thread i bought a 240 low iron front from Glasscages, i have no major complaints.

There were a couple of stray strings of silicone on the side and rear panes, the black plastic around the top has come away in places, and has needed to be re-siliconed and although i now prefer them, if you don't have the dimensions to the bulkhead fittings you are going to use you will have to go with their schedule 80 fittings.
