so im workin on my sump and my drain springs a leak. ITs leaking between the 2 gaskets on the bulkhead. Whenever I grab the pipe from the bottom or top and turn it it just turns the entire thing. I can actually slide the pipe around the hole and both gaskets hold together and slide on both sides of the glass. No one is really around to help except my wife and she isnt strong enough to hold anything so that it doesnt turn. At least i have an empty sump underneath to catch all the overflow box water should it all drain out from the bottom.

do i let it drain? and regroup with help in the morning?

well the bulkhead is in the bottom.. so it will just drain down the overflow.. it isnt really a problem.. im just going to let it all drain down into my now empty sump. There's plenty of room there to take the water.

If you drain all the water out of your display it will stop leaking.

How much is it leaking? If it leaks a little (drops) you'll be fine if it's dripping in the sump... Mine did that for the first couple of months, seeing I could tighten up the bulkhead because of the plywood.
