yeah, almost too much blue.
I'm running 2-150watt 14k hqi's & 2-96 watt Sunpaq dual actinics (460&420nm)

The camera doesn't help much either, its a cheapo Nikon coolpix 3mp

The pics that are real blue were taken when I had 20k's, I downgraded to 14 to cut down on the blue but that didn't work, next time I'll stick 10k's in there.

I have a lord acan and i was wondering how can I make it multiply?

Feed it with the current off. I used to with a pipette and mysis. You might have to train it to open when you want it to (I got mine to just before lights off), but then it should be easy (as long as you keep fish and hermits etc off for a short period after feeding).

Yeah, just feed it. I feed mine every other day with a mixture of
PE Mysis, Cyclopeeze, reef plus (amino & vitamin sup.), marine snow & DT's Oyster eggs. I mix all of that together in a cup of saltwater, Then I turn off all powerheads and feed with a Kent super squirt.

It also depends on where your acan was taken from, I've heard Indo-acans will reproduce more. My Acans usually produce 5 polyps a month.

BTW- I do this at night, that way it gives the corals a chance to feed without fish stealing it from them.

Bit concerned about the feather star though. They're generally considered tough/impossible to keep.

I was misinformed when it was purchased, was told they were tough, but not impossible. It lasted 5 weeks, RIP.

I should have done a little more research before trying to keep such a delicate creature. Oh well, learned the hard way.

That's tough luck. It's understandable to assume someone selling these things would know what they're talking about, but alas...
