Glass Anemones

Hi all, my first post here...

I have had my tank almost 10 years now, and havn't added anything too it for a good year. Out of nowhere, I suddenly have glass anemones' popping up all over the place (at least that's what I think they are, to be honest, I haven't found anything out there that looks like them). Will peppermint shrimp eat them? I really don't feel like trying to inject each one of the suckers.

i tried the boiling water method but didnt get anywhere so got 2 pepp and within a week they were gone, mind u this was only in a small 70l nano, but there were at least 3 about 2/3 inches in size and little one popping up here and there. gl, dave.
