for those of you who dose B-Ionic... how much do you dose per gallon? I've been going about 30ml for 70 gallons... too much? too little?

What do you think?

Depends on your Calcium requirements. THe ony way to know is to test the tank and add or subtract accordingly.

i am pretty heavily stocked with coral GUess I need a ca test kit haha..

And an Alk kit too. I used to have to dose just a bit more Ca. than Alk to keep the balance.

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can over dose Bionic - I think it precips out if you do. Back in the day I was dosing 50ml on 200 gallons but my calcium demands were not that high. I loved this product, kept the calcium pegged at 450 or so -- just a pain in the rear to dose so darn often.

You can definitely overdose it. As mentioned you need to monitor Ca/alk needs for your tank and dose accordingly.

You don't have test kits? Get them and get good ones.

I know.. I've been lucky I guess. I've only tested my water once in my life .. and that was when I was just gettin started. I'll get myself some good tests Been needing to do that.

I dose about the same. Lately, my tank hasn't required as much, though. I do test alk and ca.

Your tank's demand is not necessarily how full of corals your tank is but how many corals demand how much to be dosed. Softies, for example, aren't going to be your deciding factor.
