what's a good place to purchase cooling fans for a DIY hood???

6-inch clip on fans from Wally World for under $10. Move way more than most fans that are installed in the hood.

Radio shack comes to mind as one I've read here. Otherwise any one of the online vendors you can think of should have something.

i just wanted somthing that I can mount to the side of my canopy I'm kinda tired of the clamp on fans,.. but like the previous post said.. its IS one of the best ways to keep things cool.... sigh...

I didn't misread it - I am giving you advice. MH gives off allot of heat adn when I just had the 2 Icecap fans in the hood it was too hot. Added the clip on fan and it did winders and saved me from a chiller - so far.
