PFO vs. Lumen Arc

Just thought Id post a pic of my new lumen arcs beside my PFOs. I would have bought the lumen arcs last year but they did not have a DE model on the market. The PFOs have been very good to me but I wanted to light the four corners of my tank a little bit better. I bought the vented pendant as opposed to the stealth that I was talking up a few months ago because every half inch of reflector was improtant to me.

Wow, those are massive. Definitely post a before/after shot. I'd like to see the difference it makes.

I tried to get before and after shots but didnt know my four year old had been playing with the camera and there was alot of grease on the lens during the photo shoot. Hence the out of focus shot of the reflectors. Not a single pic showed any real difference. Visually there is a significant difference. The shadows in the corners are almost all gone. Some of my corals that were shaded, are again recieving light. Much to my suprise, the tank seems whiter (less blue) than before.

Besides, I want to be full tank shot stingy until June when I will show some one year before and after shots. Things are growing in well.
