Of turbos, astrea, trochus, blue leg hermits, red leg hermits, emerald crab, lawnmower blenny, and so on and so on, which would have the best chance of controlling hair algae? I'm willing to spend whatever. I have completely taken my tank down, srubbed every rock individually, and it is now coming back. Water is perfect with zero to almost zero nitrate, and zero phosphate. I have tested my water source and it too has zero nitrate or phosphate. Where the heck is it coming from!?!?!? Obviously I cant stop it, so I guess I just have to control it. Any suggestions?

The only way I've ever been able to get rid of Hair algae is to completely starve it of light for a period of about 3 or 4 months.

I haven't really had any success with anything else.

I recently had a small outbreak of it. All I did was add some mexican turbos, and a couple of line spine black sea urchins. The urchins did a very visisble job.
