Buy reef buffer by Seachem raises ph to 8.3...
I had my ph about what yours was and I used this, and it was 8.3 in 5 days, you cant over dose so it its top is 8.3 and wont go over.
The down side is this will raise carbonate alkalinity 0.5 per does so u can over dose the kh (kh was low at the time also, this was no big thing for me).

b-ionic will instantly raise ph. the alk part of it does.
i watch it raise the sumps ph on a digital ph monitor.
you may need a bufer like seachems... i also use it occasionaly
in change water. i prepare it just right before using it.
it is highly recommended and goes a long ways.

I personally would look for the real cause of low PH before buffering with anything.
IMO to give an informed answer that will potentialy help your reef years down the road we will need to know more about your system. How large is your tank? What kind of salt do you use? What is your salinity? what kind of test kits are you useing? Do you run a skimmer? How big is the tank? How much LR? Does it have a SSB a DSB or is it BB? If you provide some back ground and history we can help you in an informed manner and you can possibly learn some causes and effects of reef chemistry. Or... you can bufffer with a quick fix and hope that you dont have to revisit this thread in a month or two.

Well i am not a begineer, have had a reef for 10 years. Just never had this many problems.

This may sound like a stupid question but how old is your house? Where is the tank in the house? You may be suprised to know that alot of new houses are so air tight that they can deprive your tank of necessary O2.
A quick way of testing your tank water for O2 depletion it to put some tank water in a cup, take it outside and run an air stone in it for a couple hours, then test your Ph. If it raises the Ph then you know this is your issue and can simply run your skimmer air hose to an outside source.
From the post above you look like you have a "normal" tank set up. I cant see anything that would cause your PH to be cronically low.

NO once you test it and it is 8.2, 8.3 stop dosing.
If you use this about a week latter test it, if it went down then it is some other problem.
My pH actually goes down when my skimmer's air intake gets clogged. It's pretty interesting to watch. It goes down as much as 0.1. After cleaning the skimmer (permitting it to "breath" better from air drawn outside the cabinet), my pH goes back up.
That said, my pH ranges from 8.1 to 7.7. When I dose Bionic, it goes up to about 8.2 and 7.8, which is just fine for me. Kalkwasser definitely raises pH too.

You should aim to raise it a bit (slowly, of course). Try the suggestions posted here thus far and give it a week to see if there's any results. Bionic might take a little while longer to show any real changes. Personally, I'd go with dripping kalkwasser if you really want to raise the pH.
