Hate to ruin the fun but it's apparently called a Horseshoe Leatherjacket. It's rare and related to the filefish. Strange that it can be both a horseshoe and leatherjacket at the same time .

To be honest I thought it was a trigger at first too, but then I realized how weird its face was. Triggers have nice faces, filefish have ugly faces.

I was just looking into this fish again at marine center http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/filefishes/horseshoeleatherjacket/. Check out what they put as his range in nature. Looks like there is life on mars afterall.
