Cool, I need to check it out. Like everything else in Greenwich, I'm sure it's very pricey. You know when they have a Ferrari dealership in town it's an expensive neighborhood. :)

House of Fins and Reef and Fin are also in the Stamford/Greenwich area (also very nice, also very pricey).

With all of those rimless Elos tanks and the leather couch in the front of the store , I can just here them saying to me, "Sorry, we have a $200 minimum purchase policy and dont want anything to do with your penny pinching a**".

A very beautiful store indeed. Im sure it will inspire alot of reefer NEWBs to spend tens of thousand setting up nice systems.

I hear the tanks are actually rimless Aquarium Obsessed, not that it's much cheaper ;)

I can't imagine how they stay profitable, but they are in the hedge-fund capital of the world and probably cater to some really high-end custom-install clientèle.

You'd be on the WRONG side of the country then Karl ;)

FWIW< the richest of the NY crowd tend to move to there....Not many non mansions around. Lots of old money in that area, that is for sure. Great store with some great products....and some of prices are in line with what I have seen across the US in my travels.

High end service side ;) Just like House of Fins. Between both of those I would figure at least $10M+ in service alone!

I wonder if that is where Martin Moe (64ivy) shops?

Martin Moe lives in Florida I believe and is one of the true pioneers of this hobby. 64ivy is I believe a different gentleman, a TV writer, who has an amazing tank and is also passionate about reefkeeping from what I've seen.

How do they bag the fish / corals etc without making a mess! Looks way too pretty to be a fish store but to each his own and I've been in stores like that where they size you up financially and tell you to buzz off poor guy.

Jason (The owner of GA) is a great guy. our members shop there all the time. Although he's in an expensive place (real estate wise) all the stuff is priced pretty well. Plus, he's always willing to deal on prices if you buy a few.

and yeah, the store is gorgeous and kicks ass.

Here's a interview he did for www.manhattanreefs.com It's in the current/premier volume of our magazine. http://reefsmagazine.com/index.html

I should have said Michael G. Moye

Just down the road so to speak so I would suspect so. His tank was amazing and the drive to it was far from shabby :) I just wish I had more time to visit when I was there.

Nothing but great things to say about the area, the stores and all the reefers I met in the area :)
