Where does one get the equipment to put oxygen into bags for shipping? I was at a "not so" LFS earlier this week and noticed the owner had a hose connected to a small oxygen tank (smokers tank) and filled the bag with oxygen prior to tying it shut. I asked where he got his contraption from but he replied "oh Ive just had it for a while". This led me to believe he did not want me reselling what I just purchased :D . Anyway I ship a decent amount of coral clams and fish and thought this might help with the survival rate. Any ideas or where to get the pieces and parts?

you can get it all from your local Gas supplier(likely the same place you get CO2 for your calcium reactor) - here in MD it would be Robert's Oxygen(local seller of gaseous products.)

No luck there, lol. I was told I could get a big oxygen tank (HUGE) or have a small tank sent off, filled then returned but no "packaging supplies" such as hoses, nozzles etc....

the only thing you really need besides the tank, is a regulator, hose, and balloon inflator attachment- and if they dont sell them, you can get one at a welding shop-
example(you can look up these parts on weldingdepot.com):
baloon inflator: http://store.weldingdepot.com/cgi/weldi ... 2-229.html
oxygen regulator: http://store.weldingdepot.com/cgi/weldi ... OR-VM.html
hose: http://store.weldingdepot.com/cgi/weldi ... 0V77x.html

these parts, and an oxygen tank, and you're all set(this is the style setup I had in my old shop, and is the same setup they use in two other LFS's in my area.)
