...the misses started complaining about the noise of the tank fan a couple of days ago. So, I pulled out the aquarium made fans, and installed this one on the wall:
It's small, looks clean, moves a ton of air, and is super quiet. Good times
At the moment I am really digging my tank from the side. When I look at it, I usually sit on my chair next to the tank rather than sitting in front of it. I guess it makes it look bigger... I dunno
I picked up a new coral on the way back to the office from Galveston. Its sitting on my desk waiting for me to go home. Teal stag with dark polyps. First new thing fort he tank since April.
Adrian - It's Lasko Fan Model #4904 - Space-saving Task Fan. You can also find it online at homedepot.com or eBay (figured I'd get all this info out now, so this doesn't become a fan thread ).
At the moment I'm happy with the growth that's going on right now....
The Tubs Giant Bonzai is attaching to the rock and I just got it not too long ago......Karl, bro, some of this already belongs to you once it's big enough. At the rate it's goign it may be soon

I like that I have the small bugs worked out of my system (after a year) and I can spend most of my time just watching it instead of working on equipment.
Just excited to have water in my tank, and that the circulating pump doesn't leak. I filled it up on Tuesday. Also at this very moment ordering a 4-way and some nozzles from Oceans Motions completing my equipment setup just the way I wanted.
I bought him/her like this, with the receding tissue. Since then (December) he has completely regrown the tissue, and is expanding very nicely, and has adopted an ever darker, richer color.
Here is the "before" pic taken in December. I will get an after pic sometime soon...
I am particularly proud of the little guy in the photo. I bought it as a single polyp for $1 at the LFS. Two years later, the galaxea colony is 3 inches across.
