Something else to think about is that the color temperature given by the manufacturer is not to be trusted. Some 6,500K are a nice white and some 10K's are yellow. The Iwasaki 50Ks are actually a nice 10-14K not some actinic blue.
If you ask around you can get some idea on the color; however, it is often best to go see someones tank. Just seeing a picture won't do it since cameras do some weird things when photographing aquariums.
