The took the wind out of my sails today, told me they were giving me full refund. They took my threats serious(which they were).
Reporting them the the florida bbb, local police, state attorney general, and anyone else who could hear my voice.

All I can do is wait, to make sure they do refund the money, then just tell everyone NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH AQUACON (FROM FLORIDA)

They had a marine plant assortment, mostly shaving brushes, and sea fans, and something else I have never seen.....
Does anyone know where to purchase nice marine plants online? the above, and stuff like nice maidens hair ect....

Inland Aquaria used to be the place to get that stuff. I would suggest hobbyists, go to wetwebmedia and ask there, too (they have a BB/forum, wetwebfotos I think it is, should be a link).

I'm glad they took you seriously. I hope no one else gets ripped off, and I'm glad that there are people like you who are willing to take action instead of allowing themselves to be rolled.

Aside from the inland aquatics already mentioned I've bought seagrass, macro algaes etc from these folks and they are just swell to deal with:

They do their own collecting so a lot of it seems to be seasonal but I have ordered from them twice and was pleased. The calcerous algaes (aside from Halimeda) are a bit tricky Iin my experience. You might even want to check out the 'specialist' forum on that other big reef board for husbandry tips.

Leroy is still selling stuff? It's so hard to tell with the state of his website. Then again it's been a few years since I looked at his site. It didn't change for a few years so I stopped looking :D

The biggest issue for me, is not the cost of the item, but the shipping up here to new england. Everything has to be overnight(of course) about a $100.00 per box from Florida. $180.00 per from the California region.
Got a phone call from the police yesterday, aquacon decided to send my stuff out hours after the police demanded that I be the first one on the list, anything I was owed, that they didnt have, I would be the first on the list when it came in. Package arrived today, and man oh man, they do have some beautiful specimens, just takes FOREVER and a day to get it. They never tell you when, never any e-mails or phone calls.
