CPR backpack look so cheap.

It is built well. I thought the aqua-C was going to be a step up. It was not.

i think you could use an overflow box....drain the water down to the skimmer, and then pump it back up nice and clean. i don't have any experience with those types of skimmers, so, maybe someone else can chime in.

So this what im looking at.

Bak Pak 2R (any bubbles get into the tank?)

Aqua c remora

I cant find any other hang on back skimmer that does not have a huge pump.

I was looking awhile back on Coralife Super Skimmers but most of you said this was not a great skimmer.

Mr.X I have made my mind that I just want a hang on :) .

we use a bak pak 2 on our live rock curing tank....it creates alot of micro bubbles, even with that black netting they give you to put on the output...

we used a aqua c urchin on our tank and had OK results...we eventually ended up buying a EuroReef...

MrX's idea about using an overflow to feed the skimmer is pretty interesting...youll have to add another pump to send the water back up, but if it improves your water quality IMO its worth another motor running..you might want to look into a setup like that...
