To raise baby clownfish you have to be prepared with foods and a separate tank before the eggs are laid. So just enjoy watching them care for this batch! :D

Pick up the book by Joyce Wilkerson "Clownfishes" it has a good step by step instruction on how to raise clownfish. You will have to have phytoplankton cultures to feed your rotifer culture, and the rotifers are the fry's first food. You will also have to have a separate small tank to keep the eggs and fry in, as they cannot be raised in the main tank.

It's actually quite a bit of work, but rewarding if you have the time and space.

Good luck!

Wilkersons book is great! I would suggest getting the rotifer culture going using phytoplankton pastes from ReedMariculture or BrineShrimpDirect. You might be able to find live rotifers from Algagen at your LFS. We have them available in our city. We also have Reeds concentrated phyto at a store of two here.

It is much easier to use the phyto products available than to grow your own. You can get a larger culture of rotifers (I suggest having a few going at the same time) and the algae species they have are more nutritious than the kind easily grown in our homes.

Treat the first few clutches as a learning experience and know you will get better with each clutch.

Can you visualize the eggs? Is the father fanning and protecting them?

I can get phytoplankton at the lfs .yes I can see the clutch It has doubled in size since Saturday, The male sucks and fans during the day. the female seems to take over at night. The clutches are on a rock that could be removed, but i don't think i could catch the parents. my Tank is 90 gal and just has a blenny and a dottyback the emerald crab has me worried though. I started to hatch some baby brine shrimp?

When you can see their eyeballs, they are ready to hatch! They will hatch a few hours after the light goes out, so when it is getting close, you have to set your clock to get up in the night. Shine a flashlight near the top where you can suck them out with a turkey baster. They will swim to the light.

Or you can put a trap under your overflow to catch them.

BBS are too big. Rotifers are the only first food I know.
