new crab, please help ID...pics

Just came across this guy tonight, I haven't added anything in weeks but he's new.. Any ideas what kind of crab this is? Is it reef safe? His body is about the size of a quarter and he has 4 legs on each side (eight total) and a set of claws. Thanks in advance!

I think it is a gorilla crab. When reading about this crab it seems pretty nasty... My clams are great, I'm not missing any fish, all corals are fully extended... Is it inevitable that it will start destroying stuff? I know that the earliest it could have entered my tank is over a month ago, should I really be that concerned??? thoughts?

sounds like it's time for that special shampoo and a razor . i'm in agreement, looks like a gorilla crab...better to be safe than sorry, remove it.
