Anybody ever try natural sunlight through fiber optics?

I honestly don't think it would be as good. You have less control over the amount of light you get, if you have a cloudy day, the length of time of light you may get, etc. Plus... light is different where these creatures live. It's probably much more intense at and near the equator where a lot of these things come from.
