I used Rotifeast. It's not live, but my LPS liked it lots. I also used Arctipods which seemed to color up my fish (especially the Anthias). I've been using mysis recently (to be honest, just about all fish find mysis irresistible, so I indulge mine), but I may order some more Arctipods soon.

it is a little confusing as to what to feed each thing. for instance.. is one of the live products acceptable to sps..? which ones for LPS? then fish?

any advice is appreciated.

LIVE products
Live rotifers - larval fish, fish that feed on small prey like Chromis, SPS, anemones and LPS
Tigger-Pods (LIVE) - Fish, LPS, anemones and some SPS
Phyto-Feast LIVE - filter feeders, some softies and little things like copepods
Macro-Feast (LIVE) - anything that consumes macro, mainly fish and snails

Concentrates (not live)
Phyto-Feast Concentrate - same as Phyto-Feast LIVE
Arcti-Pods (not live) - LPS, Fish and anemones
Roti-Feast (not live) - Softies, LPS, SPS, Fish, anemones and gorgonians

these guys are pretty expensive considering shipping and so forth.. iyo are they worth the trouble?

Gresham took care it, but I'll just add that with most any reef organism it's best to feed as wide of a variety of foods as the animal will accept. This goes for corals as much as fish. If they are eating these items, they are worth the expense IMO.

Feeding is one thing I never skimp on.

I'm worse off than you! I'm in NE Mississippi.....closest big city is Memphis, and there's not even a decent store there

Just trying to help, no need to take it to the dude level :lol: having only been thru your fine state three times in my life I wouldn't know a dime about it other then I went across it at a decent clip. I do know there are a few dealers in the state, which is why I asked an honest question :D
