I have created a trail @ AntStorm:

http://www.antstorm.com/Custom-Aquarium ... -3797.html

I'm looking for suggestions from others on great places online for custom aquariums, sumps and refugiums. I decided to go with Aquarium Obsessed for my tank, but I'm still researching the sumps and refugiums.

If there's any interest, I can turn this trail into a group maintained trail if folks want to help me build up the list. If not, please just respond to this thead w/ the links/sites and I'll add them in.

Thanks!,
Matthew

Check Glasscages. They have mixed reviews. Some concerning sloppy silicon work, some concerning interactions with customers. I think they are mainly interested in doing jobs with big volume like for LFSs. The one thing everybody agrees on is the price is right.

i got a custom from glasscages, and yes the silicone was most sloppy.... overall;
-i am happy with the tank
-unhappy with the sump
-way unhappy with the stand they built
-and so so with the canopy.

http://www.concepttanks.com/ Heard great things about them.

http://www.greatlakesaquariums.com/ Heard ok things but the biggest issue is they aren't flexible in design. Want two overflows? Go someplace else, they won't do it even on a big tank. One person I know had to go elsewhere to have a tank built. A friend is having one built next month so I can give an update.

Edit: this is the only forum I can't get quote and URL tags to work....even using the premade buttons.

I saw similar reviews of GlassCages on my prior search. Good price if you're within their shipping area.

I'd never seen the Concept Aquariums before. That's a good reference.

They advertise in a lot of magazines as well. FAMA is the one I saw them in recently.

And thanks for the fix. ;)

I would look into AGE for your Tank, There have been quite a few AO tanks that have had seams split. AGE may cost a little more for the tank but the shipping is way cheaper, AO's come out of Canada so the shipping offsets the lower price.

!@#$!@#. I already have a downpayment w/ AO. Here's hoping I never have a seem problem.

What's the URL for AGE? I'm still looking for a sump provider as Barr Aquatics isn't producing right now.

Thanks,
Matthew
