Anyone have one of these. The first production deep dimension tanks that I have seen. There are four sizes, all are 36"width with 27"height and length increments are 3 feet (150 gallon), 4 feet (200), 5 feet (250), 6feet (300).They can be sold as a complete unit with stand, canopy, lights, sump with biowheel and media trays and skimmer or each individually. The skimmer looks real lame with only two models -one for up to 150 gallon and one for up to 300 gallon. Here is the link to website with video:

I've seen them online, and I was really tempted to get one, however I have heard they are quite pricey, I really don't dig the 27" height (seems an odd height... maybe to get those "even" gallon numbers?) plus the "local" wholesaler refuses to sell them due to them wanting to sell their Oceanic tanks I can't get one locally.

Also, from what I've heard, their warranty is only valid if you put the tank on THEIR stand

I've seen the 3' version. They look HUGE in person (well, sort of are  ).

When it comes time to move later this year I hope to get the 6' version. No reason to get it now and move 6 months later.

I saw the 4 x 3 tank at my LFS this weekend thatpetplace.com they had a smaller one as well, I think it was 3 x 3? In anycase the stand was nice, I havent built my stand yet for my 4 x3 so was thinking of making it easy and just picking that stand up it was retailing for $650 IIRC. Not sure what they wanted for the tank or hood though.

I heard they were using starfire on the front of these tanks but the one I saw didnt look like it had a starfire front, it appeared pretty green on the seem. The tank used black silicone to which was nice.

Starphire on the front is an option, however not mandatory.

Also IIRC Marineland builds them out there in Penn don't they? Which could explain the cost difference from closer out here.
