What is your fastest growing coral(s) and the lighting and placement? Im just curious to see if theres an obvious pattern

Ill start it off. Green Montipora Cap mid level
montipora digitata upper midlevel.
It should be noted that my acroporas are upper mid level but instead of growing fast they exhibit beautiful colors.

Lighting-duel 250 watt 20000k MH. Been on tank for three weeks now.
Use Oceans Blend Two Part as only supplement. With weekly water changes of 5 gallons. Add 2 Gal per day of topoff.

Are you talking only SPS acropora micropthalma nice weedy coral, very thin branch though breaks like a SOB when you're cleaning the tank around it.
This has grown well under everything from a low par 250w 12K Reeflux to 14k Hamiliton (about 33% more par.

Orange porites and yellow fiji leather. They are mid placement under 3x175 watt 15K Iwasaki halides. The yellow fiji has almost doubled in size over the last month and the porites has tripled in a year.

My zoanthids have always grown like weeds.

IME they have grown best at the bottom of a 24" deep tank under 4 t5s and 250w 14k Pheonix DE.

Even with my tank problems, my ORA neon green polyp toadstool has doubled in size. I have it about 9" from the light on my 130-watt PC fixture.

Peace,

Chip
