Hey :) Nope, they're likely dinner for the wrasse. Some people have had luck with mystery wrasses, but most will eat shrimps. A big fire shrimp is a safer bet though.

So the cleaner shrimp is a sure goner?

What's the length of a fire shrimp to be considered big?
Mine is about 2-2.5 inches long. Although I rarely see it.

Thanks.

Cleaner is 95% chance of being eaten. Fire shrimp would have to be 2+". They're more armored and robust, so they have a better chance against a mystery. I've seen mysteries eat shrimps pretty much of the same body length. It's amazing what fish can cram down their mouth.
