My Helfrichi Dartfish recently started picking at nori off the clip! He's eaten it before when there are small pieces flying around, but he has never picked at it like this until recently.

My male Kuda Seahorse also started getting aroused by its own reflection recently. It's a black seahorse that turns completely pink and it starts following its reflection in the glass. I guess the girl I paired him up with isn't good enough for him...

What weird things do your fish do?

My coral beauty angelfish hates one of my clownfish...just one. It doesn't care about any other fish in the tank. I even had the opportunity to separate the two at one point and the fighting stopped completely; the angelfish never bothered any other fish.

My coral beauty recently discovered that royal gramma poop is edible (It's true! I watched suck in and swallow!). It does chase my royal gramma around a little but only to pick the turds out of it's butt.

I do think it's interesting to watch the interactions between my two clowns. I once watched as the smaller clown was sitting on the favorite mushroom of the larger one. The larger clown saw this and very gentily grabed the small one by the tail and pull it off the mushroom. I can't imagine what goes through the mind of a fish, but they definately seem to have a relationship beyond "big fish vs. small fish."

Well, I had a Watchman goby turn up alive in a 25 gallon tank after I hadn't seen him in 7 months  does that qualify?

My six line wrasse likes to sleep on his side during the day when the lights are out. He will sometimes lodge himself under a rock or coral. You can even poke him, and he will just lay there(thought he was dead one time). When the lights come on, back to normal???

Yap, that counts. I had a similar experience in my 75 gallon. I bought a Pink Bar Goby (I think that's what it's called) and it disappeared after one day. I thought it didn't adjust properly. Then 4 months later I'm feeding the tank and I see him come out in the back and he was picking at the food. That was the last time I saw him though and I'm sure he's dead now.
