what is the difference between Salinity Refractometer 0~28% and Salinity Refractometer 0~10%?

which one is the best for a marine tank!?
i found very cheap Refractometers from ebay! especially from china!...what is your review regards this!?

Never seen a salinity of 0-10% get a refractometer that measures SG 1.000 through 1.030 .....you will be better off

Salinity of sea water is about 3.5%, Red Sea up to about 4.0% so refractometer for salt at 0-5% is best. Most of us use one scale from 0-10%. I would avoid one that read from 1-28%

My refractometer read on one side Specific Gravity and the other side of the bar read Salinity. I think the scale is up to 6% salinity

You need it to start at 1.000 so you can calibrate it with fresh water. Otherwise you need certified test solutions...

refractometers from 1.000 to 1.030 are quite common
