Question Green algae

So every morning I wake and the bottom of my tank is covered in a green algae. As the lights come on and the day progresses it goes away for the most part. But when the lights go off and morning hits boom same thing. It turns my socks green every day and my skimmer has green foam. Any suggestions? I have done a few water changes my nitrate is about 12ppm and phosphate is .12 all fish and coral are growing fine.

Cyano? It grows in Matts like that. If so slow down on the water changes. I think that makes it worse. Search the forums for it and follow the instructions. I’ve had a few outbreaks throughout the years.

easy fix... use antibiotic, red slime remover and a massive water change to remove nutrients.
medium fix, turn off all lights till it dies out, then massive water change,
long term fix, export nutrients, which are building up in your tank by whatever means possible.

100 percent was silicates my RO was 425
