Skimate as fertilizer????

Has anyone ever used skimate for plant fertilizer? Obviously I’m talking about outdoor plants because my skimate stinks. I’m thinking it would make great liquid fertilizer because it’s full of nutrients. My only concern is the salt content. I have added it to a bunch of my outdoor potted plants. If anyone has any experience using it as fertilizer please let me know your results. I will post after a few weeks to let you guys know how it’s gone.

I backwash my outdoor pond to some outdoor plants. Not sure if that helps

Yes pond water is fine I would guess but my concern is the salt content in the skimate.
