As the title says. I have always had a passion for planted freshwater tanks but salt was has been my main passion for over a decade.
With refugiums becoming popular now days i have seen some really spectacular display refugiums.
I have an extra 20L tank that I think would be perfect for macro algae but dont know where to start.
My initial thought was to have the refugium next to my main display and have water pumped from the sump to the display and then gravity fed back to the sump and then ultimately pumped back to the main display.
Would the pump harm and pods or beneficial life that would grow in the fuge?
My main concern is where to get nice Macro algae, as I want it to be as nice as a planted fresh water.
