Picked up a male and female shrimp 2 months ago. Anyone have any experience with these guys? The male was lost within a day, to who knows where, or possibly eaten. Later on, after cleaning out the power heads, the water current was too strong, the female was swept away a few weeks ago, luckily she went into the sump, and I have now just found her on my ricodea bed. Heh I have moved her back to the LPS and she's sitting in a low flow area now, happy as a clam.
Anyone know about their biology? Should I try another male? Or adding a group?
I've kept sexy shrimp in the past, but found they were not obligated to stay within the host and kept walking around, much to the happiness of the 6-line wrasse, who quickly ate them all.

well, now the shrimp just walks around leaving the protection of the LPS, especially during feedings. If I had a wrasse, he would be eaten by now, just like a sexy shrimp. I'm not sure how these guys could have survived evolutionarily at this point.
