Summer tank maintenance

Do you do anything different in the summer vs. the cooler months? Water changes, different heater, light, or waterflow settings, etc?

Pretty much the same week in and week out. Here in central Texas we can go from 90°+ to below freezing in February so cooling can be as much of an issue in winter as summer. With cold fronts evaporation can be as bad in winter as in summer.
