What is everyone useing for their tubing?

Does the Silicone Tubing hold up in the long run? I have used the vinyl tubing for years I know it get hard once in place it does not move.​

I was thinking of changing over to silicone for the return and the reactors in the sump. does it hold up? what are the pros and cons?

It all gets stiff sooner or later. I haven't seen enough of a difference to justify the cost myself.
