Gsp growing on back

Hi guys
so I have a gsp growingnon the back of my 40 gallon tank. I’m upgrading to red sea max s-500. so the question is what do I do with it l? Do I just kill it or is there a way of saving it?

You should be able to detach it with something sharp, like a razor blade

If it is happy in the new tank, it will start to attach itself

Unrelated sidebar but that's an awesome looking tank. Pretty much what I hope the "after" pictures of my tank will look like.

you can scrape right off with a razor and glue pieces to your new tank if you wish or frag plugs.
i would only put it on its own rock if you want it in the tank.
